We are back!!!!!!
We had a great time. It was so nice to finally meet Sue and Terry. We even got to meet Sue's dad. Everyone was so nice and welcoming. On Saturday we got to the Philly at about 11:00pm. We drove to Trenton to pick up Amanda from her aunt's and took her back to her house. We got up early the next morning to go to church. Amanda looked absolutely georgous. She looked like a little bride. Madison and Philip were happy to see her and never left her side. Madison was singing in church and continued to sing after the song ended. It was so cute even the pastor was laughing. Which of course embarrased her. We went to Amanda's aunt's house for a little party. Then we left to go meet up with Sue and Terry and Brian for dinner. We went to a Japanese restaraunt and had hibachi. The waiter kept the kids amused with the little dissapearing tricks he was doing. I felt very comfortable with my great new friends. It couldn't have gone any better. The kids were well behaved and dinner was great. I was sad to have to say goodbye for the night but knew that tomorrow we would have time to spend without the kids. We got the kids to bed and went to bed ourselves. The next morning Phil took Amanda to school and then we went out with Philip and Madison. We visited a Jen, Kaitlyn, and Jesse. Philip and Madison had fun just playing with their friends for a little while. I stopped at my old work and no one knew who I was. I guess I have changed in a year. I did not realize it but I guess so. Then we went and picked Amanda up from school a little early. We went to Tanner's ice cream to meet Jill. The kids enjoyed that. Jill got a little something for the kids and Philip LOVED that. It was nice to see her again. Then it was back to Amanda's to drop off the kids and head to Sue and Terry's. Wow what a beautiful house. It was going to be great for their children. You can tell they are in total love with each other, in every room you walk in they either have pictures of their wedding day or some type of memorabilia. It is wonderful they are exactly as I had pictured. We decided we were going to the Melting Pot for dinner. That is a Fondue restaraunt. Phil and I had never had that so we agreed. It was so nice. We were able to take our time and get to know one another. I missed the kids but enjoyed the quiet at the same time. We went back to there house for the evening. The next morning we went to the clinic nice and early. We met with Andrea the Psychologist and then Marianne the nurse and then Dr. B.
They all agreed that we were good to go. We recieved the final word at about 3:00. WOOOOOHOOOOO!!!!!
We left the clinic to pick the kids up. They had a great time but were sad to leave Amanda. We took them back with us to Sue and Terry's. Philip headed to the dog park with Geeves and Kaboodles. Madison stayed with me and the cats. She did get brave and pet the cat. But the dogs were a different story. She is still terrified of them. Sue and I went over some things in the contract and then Sue and Terry prepared dinner. They would not let us help with anything. They made spagetti which is the kids favorite. Spagetti is not exactly the cleanest meal in the world but they had no worries. It was nice for the kids. Then we had some lime merange pie. Philip and Madison got a chance to play on the piano a little then it was off to bath and bed. We had and early flight home and needed to get to sleep. We were up at 4:00am. Sue and Terry got up to see us off. BOOOOHOOOOO! Can't we stay a little longer. Oh well we have to get back to work. I will go back by myself in about 6-8 weeks for transfer and hopefully I will have wonderful news for them by fathers day. It was such a lovely time and even if nothing came out of this we have wonderful new fiends. I thank them for this chance to give them a beautiful baby in which they deserve. They have so much love to share. They also have shown the trust that they have given me to help them through this journey. And for that I thank them.
